Kate's Ranch Dip Mix

Kate Schat
Here's a quick and easy dip to whip up! You'll love it because it's so much healthier than any packaged ranch dip you'll find in the store. And your kids will love the way it tastes with their veggie snacks!

Ingredients

Ranch Dip Spice Mix

  • 5 Tablespoons dry minced onions
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 Tablespoons dry parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon basil

Ranch Dip

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream or yogurt, more like thick dip buttermilk or kefir (more like pourable dressing)
  • 2 Tablespoons dip mix

Instructions

Ranch Dip Spice Mix

  • In a half pint jar shake together the onions, garlic powder, salt, parsley, dill, thyme, and basil.

Ranch Dip

  • To make the dip, mix together the mayonaisse, sour cream and 2 tablespoons of dip mix.

Notes

  • The dip keeps for a week in the fridge. Label jar of dry mix with mixing instructions and store in cupboard for future use. I make a pint jar of this every week. We adore it!
