Strawberry Soft Serve Ice Cream

A food processor is all you need to make super fast soft serve! The perfect portion for a family to enjoy immediately - no bowl freezing and no churning.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups frozen strawberries (10 ounces) or other frozen fruit of choice, see notes
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
  • fat pinch sea salt
  • cup whole milk or cream use the best quality possible

Instructions
 

  • Using a food processor or high speed blender, process the strawberries, maple syrup and salt until like big grains of rice.
  • Add in the milk and process a few seconds.
  • Scrape down sides and process again.
  • Scrape down sides one more time and process til kinda smooth.
  • If it's too soupy freeze until firm enough, otherwise, enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to use whatever frozen fruit you have. Yes, this is just like "banana ice cream" people make, though that is often just bananas and nothing else. Just keep in mind that you want fruit of similar size to whole strawberries for the easiest processing. So peach slices might need to be halved, but blackberries work. Things like that.
