Maple Sugar Salmon may just be the tastiest salmon recipe you've ever tried! It's a favorite in our family and you'll love how easy it is to throw together at dinner time!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb wild salmon fillets
  • 2-3 tablespoons bacon fat or lard
  • 2-3 tablespoons Maple Sugar
  • salt+pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 450F.
  • Put the salmon fillets on a parchment lined baking sheet. (Or not. It's just easier clean up.)
  • Spread bacon fat on the salmon.
  • Sprinkle maple sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes until the salmon is firm and opaque.
  • Sprinkle the lemon juice over the fillets and serve.
