- 3 black tea bags
- 1 quart hot water
- ½ lemon or 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 fat pinches sea salt
In a 2 quart canning jar or other heat proof container, place tea bags, salt, lemon/juice, and honey.
Add hot tap water or hot water from kettle to the 1 quart mark.
Give the tea a little stir and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Remove the tea bags. Stir well to dissolve honey.
Fill the remainder of the jar with cold water and pop in the fridge until chilled through.
- Steep and store right in one jar!
- You don't need boiling water with the longer steep time.
- Adding cool water at the end means you can enjoy immediately, or simply chill for later.
