Egg Nog Ice Cream

Egg nog is the flavour of winter, so why not turn it into ice cream? Homemade egg nog with homemade Irish cream and you have a delight!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups raw whole milk or whole milk from the store
  • 8 farm fresh whole eggs or pasteurized from the store
  • 1 cup Irish Cream Liqueur or 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Fresh grated nutmeg to taste about ¼ - ½ teaspoon

Instructions
 

  • Whisk or blend fresh eggs in a large bowl or blender with milk, sugar, and nutmeg for a few minutes until frothy.
  • Add mix to your ice cream maker, following manufacturer's instructions.
  • Ice cream may be eaten immediately as soft serve or transferred to freezer for a firmer texture.
  • Add another dash of nutmeg on top to serve.

Notes

  • Try serving with mini candy canes or crushed mints or mini chocolate chips.
