Sourdough French Bread Pizza

Take your homemade French bread and turn it into .... pizza! This is the best way to use up all our homemade ingredients and have a meal everyone loves.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • ½ pound sausage of choice cooked
  • 1 cup shredded Asiago cheese

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Slice a loaf of French bread in half the long ways and place on a sheet pan.
  • Spread sauce evenly over the halves.
  • Add cooked meat over the pizza. Add optional veggies if desired.
  • Add shredded cheese over sausage.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.

Notes

  • Use your favorite sauce whether it's from the store or homemade.
  • Use whatever cheese is in the fridge - sky's the limit!
  • Use cooked or cured meats. Raw meat won't cook in this short amount of time.
