Kefir Ranch Dressing

Kate Schat
Homemade ranch is always delicious. Add more tang when you use your homemade kefir and mayo as a base! Your salad will be best dressed.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup kefir
  • ½ cup mayo
  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 sprig fresh parsley
  • 1 sprig fresh dill
  • 5 chives

Instructions

  • Mince or chop garlic finely and roughly cut up herbs.
  • In a tall jar, add all your ingredients and blend up with immersion blender. You can do the same thing in a regular blender if you don’t have one.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Store in an airtight jar for up to a week.

Notes

  • Use as dressing or dip. Marius loves this as a dip with pizza crust.
  • If you don't have an immersion blender, this works best with a smaller blender, such as one that has an "individual smoothie" jar.
  • Use 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning in place of fresh herbs and garlic powder if necessary.
