Many friends are home with their babes because they have a year Maternity leave, because they wouldn’t make enough to pay childcare and bring home a wage, or because their Husband insists that stay home with the children.

I am so Blessed to be able to stay home with Mac.

I am so Lucky to be the one taking care of him everyday.

I am so fortunate to have a supportive Husband who makes a wage good enough to support us.

By no means are we rolling in it, but we’re young, who is at this age?!

I am so happy to make meals and a loving home, not just a house.

I am so excited as we get into this preserving time of year, that my schedule has making jelly, picking cherries, going to farmers markets, instead of business meetings.

Don’t let me fool you, I have meltdowns.

Oh boy, just ask Cowboy, I have meltdowns.

I know I’m not the only one who feels a mess if your kitchen is a mess?
Who feels unorganized if your bedroom is unorganized?
Who feels dirty if your bathroom is dirty?

I have my down days, where I feel nothing can get done, or all I did was hold Mac.

But get this…at the end of the day, Mac is alive and well. So my job is done.

All you Parents trying to get everything done in a day? Just remember, if your child is alive at the end of the day, you got 100% on your daily evaluation!

Everything else, laundry, dishes, cooking, baking, preserving, sweeping, all that jazz? It’s just extras…
