Watermelon feta salad is the perfect side dish for burgers, steak, or chicken. It's cool, refreshing, and has a delightful mix of textures.

Salad doesn't have to be your classic potato, pasta, or coleslaw. No need for everything to be a heavy mayo-laden bowl. This watermelon salad is refreshing and hydrating, perfect for parties!
Continue with the no-mayo trend for my No Mayo Potato Salad. Fresh green salad is always a great option, and we always make our own dressings. Blueberry Salad Dressing is perfectly in-season.
Key Ingredients

Watermelon - Make your dice about a half an inch, just perfect for picking up with a fork.
Feta - Grab some crumbles to make things easy.
Onion - I love a red onion here because the strong flavour really plays well with everything else.
Dressing - We're keeping it simple here for busy days. Balsamic vinegar with basil and salt!
How to Make Watermelon Salad with Feta

FAQs
The watermelon releases a lot of juice as it sits, so I don't recommend actually mixing the salad ahead of time. What's great to do is chop everything up and keep in its own dishes in the fridge. When it's time to serve, use a slotted spoon to add the watermelon to a large, clean bowl, and toss everything together. Yes, extra dishes, but you'll have the best quality for guests!
This watermelon fruit salad is perfectly good for up to 3 days in the fridge. Just always serve with a slotted spoon to not get your plate super messy.
