Everyone loves apple crisp. It's the perfect fall dessert! Try something new and make your apple crisp in your air fryer.

Apples, cinnamon, and oats just scream fall! I love to combine these flavors in dessert for something that's warming and delicious. Apples are decently easy to slice, so you can even get the kids involved. If they are new to knife skills, you could slice into chunks or strips so they can dice those into cubes without any round surfaces.

Don't have an air fryer? You can enjoy Apple Berry Fruit Crisp in the oven. You should also be able to make this recipe in a toaster oven or convection oven.
Key Ingredients

Apples - Keep reading to see my favourite varieties for fall baking! Don't peel - not only is it lots of nutrients, it also looks pretty.
Oats - I combine oats and granola for extra textures.
Butter - Melted butter holds everything together for those lovely clumps of topping.
Cinnamon - Stay basic here with just cinnamon or go ahead and sprinkle in what you have and like such as cloves or ginger.

FAQs
Yes - generally if your dish is oven safe it can go in the air fryer, which is essentially a convection oven. Make sure it's something of tempered glass like true Pyrex or at least something with thicker sides. Also only place it in the air fryer after it is fully preheated.
Granny Smith is generally the go-to for pies. It's also a wonderful idea to mix up your varieties. Pink Lady and Honeycrisp are also great for baking. These types will hold their shape rather than turn to mush. They also have strong flavours.
This recipe was made in a larger, oven-style air fryer, so I can easily fit a square baking dish inside. If you have a smaller machine or a basket-style, it might not fit. You can try using a toaster oven with convection setting, as an air fryer is really just a sort of convection oven.
