This shaken margarita is the perfect balance of bitters with sweet honey. Pull out the blender for a true frozen treat!

Shaken, not stirred! And not frozen, either, though you CAN do that if it's your preference! There's just something about a quick little drink when we sit down at the end of the day to chat. This comes together in a jiffy and is perfect for sipping.
If you don't do tequila, you can easily add a shot of vodka to a glass of Blueberry Iced Tea. It's also fun to top any sort of tea or marg with soda water or even a flavored sparkling water for something new. And if you're not drinking at the moment, Honey Sweetened Lemonade really cools you off!
Key Ingredients

Limes - I'm not against bottled juice but you need the fresh here for the rind. I love my fruit juicer as it folds flat to store.
Honey - I love the taste of honey, but you'll need to dissolve it in warm water first.
Alcohol - Tequila and Cointreau give us the classic taste we're looking for.

FAQs
Not a fan of honey, or don't want to heat water? Maple syrup generally mixes in ok without dissolving it first. You can also use simple syrup, maybe 2 tablespoons or so as honey is much sweeter. You can also use granulated sugar but you'll want to dissolve first so you don't feel it in the finished drink.
Absolutely! You'll likely need a bit more ice than the shaken recipe calls for, and having a smaller blender jar is helpful since it's not a lot of liquid. I just prefer shaken as it's perfect for sipping. A frozen drink just goes down too quickly sometimes.
