Looking for a small boost of natural caffeine? Green iced tea is the perfect summer pick me up! A touch of honey and lemon are refreshing.

We LOVE iced tea all summer long and frankly, even into fall. Same as how I think The Best Iced Coffee is a year-round drink!
Looking for even more flavour? We call our Honey Iced Tea basically like a homemade Snapple, it's just that good. Once you learn our technique for iced green tea you can apply it to any bagged tea! Don't forget a quick sack from the freezer with your tea, like Honey Whole Wheat Muffins.
Key Ingredients

Tea Bags - Select your favourite green tea here, that you just love the taste of. Be mindful that most green tea contains caffeine, so read carefully if you are sensitive.
Honey - We love using local honey to sweeten our drinks to our liking.
Lemon Juice - This is one ingredient I don't always do "fresh" - I definitely keep a bottle in the fridge because fresh citrus is sometimes hard to come by here.
How to Make Iced Green Tea
***See recipe card below for precise measurements and instructions.***

Step 1: Add honey, lemon, and salt to a large jar. Pop in tea bags.
Step 2: Fill halfway with hot water to steep.

Step 3: Remove tea gags and stir to dissolve honey.
Step 4: Top with cool water and serve or chill.
FAQs
We love to use glass in our house. You can either use a glass pitcher or a half gallon mason jar. The big plus to either of these is being able to anchor the tea bags under the lid or jar ring, so you don't have to go fishing. Plus you only need to dirty one thing - steep and store in the same vessel!
We aren't being technical tea drinkers here. You don't even need to boil water if you don't want to! We are doing a slow, longer steep than the box directions tell you. This allows kids to safely practice their pouring skills and also means the tea is ready to go a lot quicker! We love this method because adding cool water at the end then means you can add ice to your glass and drink immediately.
